Where and when is the Geneseo for Generations event?

Will I receive a ticket to the event?

When you purchase tickets, your name and the names of your guest(s) will be added to the attendee listsimply check in when you arrive at the event. Printed event tickets will not be issued. 

 

How should I dress for the event?

The dress code for the event is business attire.

How does the online auction work?

The online auction opens in early May, and closes on Monday, May 12. More information on how to participate in the auction will be sent via email. When the auction opens, you can view available items and packages and bid as often as you'd like.


How do I donate an item to the auction?

Complete the form to donate an item to the auction or contact Matthew Cook '17, director of donor relations, at 585-245-5474 or mcook@geneseo.edu for more information.

 

How do I collect my item or package if I win an auction item?

We will notify you by email on or after May 12 if you are the highest bidder on a package in the online auction. A staff member will follow up with you to determine how best to get your item(s) to you.

 

How do I support the campaign if I cannot attend the event in person?

There are many ways you can support the Opportunities Rising: Geneseo for Generations campaign even if you can't join us on May 12. We invite you to participate in our online auction (opening in early May) or make a donation. Spread the word about the online auction, event, and the campaign to your Geneseo friends.
